This small, intimate, and affordable four day session is designed to fill a need within the Arizona region for a Suzuki style camp that will further enrich and inspire our students.

Important: Register by April 1 if you would like to be hosted by a local family. This is a great way to meet other locals and save money!

Piano & Violin Duets
The Academy is open to Book 1 and 2 students of ages 6 through 12. Piano students who have polished the repertoire at least through Book 1’s Mary Had a Little Lamb and violin students who have polished the pieces at least through Book 1’s Perpetual Motion are invited to join us. Note that this is slightly different from the information in the American Suzuki Journal.

Registered Suzuki teachers Kari Barton and Henry Flurry lead this Academy with the assistance of Barbara McClymonds and Maria Flurry.

Schedule

All sessions and performances are held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 630 Park Avenue, in Prescott, AZ.

Academy Classes:
Wednesday, June 6 through Saturday, June 9
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday
CHECKIN TIME is at 8:30 a.m. each day

Student Recital:
Saturday, June 9
2:00 PM
Parents, friends, and community members are invited to attend the concert.

Course Fee: $250
Do not let the fee prevent you from applying. Scholarships are available.

Housing

If you wish to stay with local Host Families, you can indicate so on the registration form and return your registration by April 1.
