Laura Tagawa (
sites.google.com/site/lauratagawaviolin/) completed long term Suzuki training in Violin Books 1-10 at Northern Arizona University with Dr. Louise Scott. She has taken additional Suzuki training courses with Ronda Cole, Daphne Hughes, Susan Kempter, William Dick, Laurie Scott and attended Summer School in Matsumoto, Japan. Laura has more than 15 years teaching experience and currently maintains her own teaching studio in Tucson, Arizona. She serves as the President of the Arizona Suzuki Association (
www.azsuzuki.org). Laura is also an active performer and has played in orchestras in Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana as well as internationally in Austria, Canada and Japan. She has been a member of the Arizona Opera Orchestra since 2002.
