Music Arizona Concert, June 13, 2008, 7:30 p.m.
In the spring of 2003, 4 singers
and a director met together to make music. Over the
next few months the 4 became 12 and
WOMANSONG emerged. Inspired by the
undirected male group Cantus, the director gradually
transferred responsibility for conducting, planning,
and staging over to the singers. WOMANSONG has
appeared in local churches, at the Acker Festival, at
Sharlot Hall, at the Library Concerts, at the Resort,
at the Highlands Center, and at private gatherings.
Highlighting their performance experience, WOMANSONG
opened the Chaparral MusicFest 2007. The members of
WOMANSONG are Director & Coach
